Book Reviews of three different books by Kalpanik S., reviewed by Lori Baerg

I read Welcome to California, I Met a Greek Goddess in Nashville and Seattle Adventures all in the same day. The books have some overlapping.

Title: Welcome to California
Author: Kalpanik S.
Genre: non-fiction
Reviewer: Lori Baerg (Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA)
Rating: 4 of 5 stars

The first book is the best of the lot; I found myself reading passages aloud to the people around me. The author has a way of making techspeak sound interesting; the part about the interview had me in stitches. His writing style is reminiscent of Richard Bach in the way his prose is laid out for the reader. On a personal level, I was glad to find out that the crushes I had on the nerdy guys in college didn't work out because they were just too shy.

Title: I Met a Greek Goddess in Nashville
Author: Kalpanik S.
Genre: non-fiction
Reviewer: Lori Baerg (Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA)
Rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book is more of a photo-storybook, less prose and more pictures. It's an interesting and amusing look into the world of technology.

Title: Seattle Adventures
Author: Kalpanik S.
Genre: non-fiction
Reviewer: Lori Baerg (Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA)
Rating: 4 of 5 stars

The third book is the story of the author's time spent working at "Congo.com". It's funny yet bittersweet - I learned things about the large web-conglomerate that I didn't know before.
